Canadian Donations

ANNOUNCING A NEW WAY FOR CANADIAN PCA CHURCHES TO GIVE TO THE PCA ADMINISTRATIVE COMMITTEE

Canada West Presbytery (CWP) has graciously agreed to begin receiving and receipting gifts for the PCA Administrative Committee through an Agency Agreement with us. Any Canadian PCA church may send donations through CWP with confidence that the reporting requirements of the Canada Revenue Agency will be met.

Now your church can help support the whole church through the work of the PCA Administrative Committee.

Donations may be designated to support the following ministries of the PCA Administrative Committee (AC):

  • PCA AC Operating Budget
  • byfaithonline.com
  • PCA Historical Center
  • Translating the Book of Church Order to Spanish and Portuguese
  • Presbytery Host Committee Contributions

Please include a letter or memo specifying if you would like the entire amount to go to the PCA AC Operating Budget (which enables them to allocate it where most needed), or details on how you would like the donation to be split between the ministries listed above. If no detail is given, it will go to the Operating Budget.

HOW TO GIVE

  1. Mail your letter of instruction, and a cheque endorsed to Canada West Presbytery to:

* Please note that the CRA generally accepts that a charity with an affiliate outside Canada benefits from access to useful resources such as policies, communications, and training material. If a charity transfers small amounts to an affiliate and has access to such material, the CRA will not require additional evidence of benefits to the charity.  For further information, check Appendix C in this link HERE.Â
