Every part of Christ’s body matters. Inside every local congregation, the gifts of all believers are needed for their church to mature into the likeness of Christ and serve together as his ambassadors in their community. The same is true for the PCA as a denomination. We depend on God and the gifts he has spread throughout the church in order to be faithful to the Scriptures, true to the Reformed faith, and obedient to the Great Commission.

As our church works together for Christ’s sake, we send representatives to our General Assembly to “superintend the affairs of the whole church” (BCO 14-6). The General Assembly in turn entrusts the Administrative Committee (AC) to serve the whole denomination at every level, to help local churches, presbyteries, and the agencies and committees of the PCA as they carry out Christ’s mission.

Because the whole church matters, our staff serves on the frontlines in responding to the needs of every session, presbytery, and the General Assembly. Through communications, resources, and arrangements, the AC supports every working part of Christ’s Church. Whether it’s providing counsel, resources, or communications, our goal is to promote the priorities of the gospel and to honor the importance and significance of the work being done by the whole church.

The AC depends on God’s grace and the generous contributions of churches and individuals to make this work possible. As you read more about our ministry, finances, and staff, I pray that you would consider a gift to support the work of the Administrative Committee.
