CASH SALARY:
includes cash salary and social security allowance, if applicable.
HOUSING ALLOWANCE:
where a manse is provided, usually the housing allowance is equivalent
to 40% of the cash salary.
BENEFITS:
e.g., medical insurance,
disability/life insurance, employer’s retirement annuity.
TOTAL COMPENSATION:
the sum of Cash Salary, Housing Allowance, and Fringe Benefits.
Business expenses, for which a minister is reimbursed, would not
be included as a part of the minister’s Total Compensation.
