POSITION PURPOSE To serve Chamberlain-Hunt by assisting to administer from a distinctly Christian perspective, the property, legal, financial and human resources of the Academy. FCCRC is currently led by Reverend Jae Kim and has a weekly attendance of 100-150 congregants, 80 of whom are active members. The church is located in Fullerton, Southern California.  Our congregants are mostly Korean-American young adults - the majority being single working professionals, while college students and married couples/young families are considerable minorities.  Our congregation works closely with Orange Korean Christian Reformed Church (OKC), whom we share facilities with.   

 

Job Description

 

Major Responsibilities:

  • Support FCCRC’s visions of 1) being a missional church and 2) partnering with OKC.

  • Disciple leaders for the work of the church

  • Preach during Sunday worship

  • Provide pastoral care and counseling to members of the congregation

  • Work cohesively with the Council (Associate Pastor, Elders and Deacons)

  • Work closely with worship leaders to coordinate worship

  • Able to effectively articulate and implement the vision of our church

 

Qualifications

  • Possesses an M.Div.

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an associate/senior pastor post M. Div OR 5 years overall experience as senior/associate pastor

  • Of a reformed or similar theological background

  • Must be willing to be ordained by the CRC denomination

 

Salary:
